The color of the wine is red, with violet reflections, a pleasant aroma with notes of forest berry fruit and light notes of vanilla. Very delicious taste with fine tannins. We recommend it with red meats, especially interesting for summer grilling. Montelpulciano is the name of the variety mainly for central Italy. However, it is often confused with the wine Nobile di Montelpulciano or Rosso di Montelpulciano. These two wines have nothing in common with the Montelpulciano variety. They come from the Sangiovese variety, from the Tuscany region and belong to the important Italian wines named after the village of the same name, Montelpulciano. The Montelpulciano variety is an independent variety with its own tradition and origin. It is cultivated on approximately 35,000 ha. Montelpulciano  has several wine appellations, one of the most important is Montelpulciano D´Abruzzo DOC. Montepulciano is always characteristic with notes of cherry, marasca, with a rich structure, fine tannins, not aggressive.
