 Giant bottle, sealed with red wax, delivered in a beautiful gift box. A wine that ages for at least one year in a wooden barrel. The color of the wine is intensely ruby  red, with vanilla aroma. A full-bodied wine with a velvety finish. It goes well with barbecue and grilled steaks. Montepulciano is the name of the variety mainly for central Italy. However, it is often confused with the wine Nobile di Montepulciano or Rosso di Montepulciano. These two wines have nothing to do with the Montepulciano variety. They come from the Sangiovese variety, from the Tuscany region and belong to the important Italian wines named after the village of the same name Montepulciano. The Montelpulciano variety is a separate variety with its own tradition and origin. It is cultivated on approximately 35,000 ha. Montelpulciano  has several wine appellations, one of the most important is Montelpulciano D'Abruzzo DOC. Montepulciano is always characteristic with notes of cherry, marasca, with a rich structure, fine tannins, not aggressive.

The winery was founded in 1969 as a cooperative of 20 farmers. Today it has 282 members and 600 hectares of vineyards, all in Abruzzo, a region where 40% of its territory is dedicated to wildlife, protected parks and where beautiful beaches join the mountain landscape in a few moments. The determination and passion that comes from the nature of the farmer's work and the wisdom that comes from his many years of experience are also reflected in the business decisions of the structure. In 2018, the process of renewing the company began, both structurally with the achievement of IFS and BRC certifications, and visually with the restyling of the entire company. The result is 2,000,000 bottles that will be distributed worldwide and won numerous awards. Today, Novaripa is seen as a reference point for its quality throughout the region, it is a cooperative that works with an entrepreneurial spirit. Novaripa wines represent the determination and sacrifice of the 400 growers who work in this field, because as they say: "The grapes must be crisp". Quality starts with the grapes.
