A unique Italian liqueur that is created by mixing fresh plum juice and pure alcohol. Natural pickle is essential for the base of the product. The color of the liqueur is amber, plum-like, reminiscent of homemade plum compote. The aroma is very distinct, where notes and almonds are felt, suggesting a stone in a plum. The stone is present throughout the maceration of the fruit in alcohol. The taste is sweet, delicate, slightly reminiscent of Amaretto liqueur, slightly spicy, with notes of almonds and plums.
During the summer months, we recommend PRUGNA SPRITZ (1dcl Prosecco frizzante, 4cl Plum liqueur, 4cl soda, garnish with a prune on a toothpick, plenty of ice. Serve in a wine glass.
During the winter months, we recommend pouring 4cl of Plum liqueur with hot water, possibly with fruit tea, adding pieces of apples, cinnamon and vanilla.
