In terms of aroma and taste, it can be classified among the great wines, GRANDE VINI. The name of Ripasso wine is derived from the Italian verb "ripassare". It means that the red wine under the name Valpolicella is re-fermented on the lees of the Amarone wine. "Ripassa", the high-quality marc of Amarone wine is used again for the production of Ripasso wine.
This completes the process of mainly organoleptic properties in the wine.
