Valpolicella superiore is a red wine from the region of the same name, north of Verona. The wine is made from 4 autochthonous varieties of the region. The color of the wine is ruby ​​red, sometimes more intense. The aroma is reminiscent of red roses, violets, fresh fruits, such as raspberries, pomegranates, cherries, plums, the notes of spices mainly smell of white pepper. The color of the wine is ruby ​​red, sometimes more intense.  The scent is reminiscent of red roses, violets,  to fresh fruits, such as raspberries, pomegranates, cherries, plums,  the notes of spices are mainly white pepper.  The taste is  soft, smooth with fine tannins, full, the aroma corresponds to the taste. In the 50s and 60s, the most famous and famous wines in the world were for their bright color, reminiscent of cherries and raspberries, and a distinct spicy taste. Hemingway, a lover of wine and especially of this region,  wrote "friendly as the house of your brother". Vinification is in progress  drying of grapes  20 ​​days, subsequent vinification in a stainless steel tank, aging for 4 months in oak barrels (French oak) with a volume of 500 l, archiving: 5-7 years. We recommend serving with Italian appetizers (prosciutto, melon, salami, figs). For second courses, mainly with boiled meat or white meat. The vineyards are located between Mezzane and Marcellis at an altitude of  300 m. n. m. The way of leadership is Guyot. The soil is clayey to limestone,  with a large deposit of dead parts. The grapes are hand-picked in  2nd half of September

The following structure of varieties is used for production: 50% Corvina, 20% Corvinone, 20% Rondinella, 10% Oseleta 

The Corvinone variety   is a red Italian variety, grown mainly in the Veneto region, in the northern part of Italy. In 2010, the total area was 930 ha. Corvina is a variety that is mainly blended with other red varieties such as Rondinella, Molinara and other autochthonous varieties mainly from the Valpolicella region. Corvina is dominant in red wine called Valpolicella or Bardolino.

Corvinone This is another red variety grown mainly in the Valpolicella and Bardolino areas. It forms the basis of great wines such as Amarone and Reciotto.
